Sustainability and quality in harmony with nature
The LGKS estate (german Landgut Kemper & Schlomski) is located on the edge of the Saxon Switzerland area and in proximity to Dresden. The estate with the u-form courtyard is a heritage asset surrounded by extensive submontane meadows and various fields.
Since 2004 the total area amounting 110 hectares, 65 ha of which is forest, has been maintained according to the environmental safety standards. To conserve the biodiversity of the cultural landscape, a habitat connectivity of pond landscapes, forest and orchard habitats has been established.
The integral part of the Kemper & Schomski activities in the estate is breeding of the Rhenish dressage horses by proven German sires as well as Fjord horses with the best German maternal lineage offspring.
Whether to walk, long bats night or scavenger hunt – we are gladly to invite you this year again to our diverse events at the estate.
You can find our event calendar here.

With the help of our new full-day offer (GTA) we prepare girls and boys in the Liebstadt elementary school in theory and practice for their First riding certificate (RA10).

Fresh wind in the estate team
All good things come in threes: Lia, Manuela and Madeline have been making their Voluntary Ecological Year at the LGKS estate since September 2017.
About their active everyday life and their experiences report these three in their own blog.
Reunion with D'Artagnan
Last autumn, our handsome black-brown Rhineland gelding D'Artagnan found a new family and left LGKS estate. As a horse breeder we are pleased to see how Abigael and D'Artagnan became real team in recent months.
Here you can read more about it.
